Last December I had a semi-formed book plan that @eliarieh.bsky.social helped shape into something so much better. Today? A deal, 70% of my manuscript drafted, cover design proposals, and a TBC release date. The grey under my eyes is worth it. 2025 was decent to me. I couldn't have done it alone 🙏🏻

Seeing American non-boxing fans on socials suddenly discovering Anthony Joshua this week 😂😅 had half my brain going 'omg essay on 1880s lads doing music hall boxing exhibitions for the ladies!!!'. My brain said, no, drink wine and watch Christmas cartoons with the kid. Still. The thought was there!

A friend of mine, similar age, has teen step daughters and we're in agreement that the star shaped pimple sticker trend is SO Georgian! History! Delightful! No crusty layers of concealer for these 17yr olds. But we do NOT understand the brown lip liner. Where has this come from? Where is it going?
