Yes, HID headlights are very bright but the bigger problem is the proliferation of gargantuan vehicles with 5’+ hood heights so that if you’re driving a normal sized car their headlights are at your eye level rather than seat level like they’re supposed to be.

🎁 For this holiday season, consider gifting COLOR TASTE TEXTURE! It’s a great primer for people of all ages with little to no experience cooking. If you have some neurodivergent friends and family, or parents of littles, they might love this! It’s not just a cookbook, it’s a new approach to food. 🎁
I’m an Autistic classically trained chef and I wrote a food aversion acceptance cookbook and guide titled COLOR TASTE TEXTURE, that’s all about finding out what works for specific sensory needs and how to customize food for them. It’s useful for all ages, no cooking experience necessary.
Color Taste Texture by Matthew Broberg-Moffitt: 9780593538593 | PenguinRandomHouse.com: Books
An accessible family cookbook that offers solutions rather than tricks to empower the food-averse, autistic, and picky eater, with 46 recipes. This much-needed cookbook combines tips and techniques.....

This is genuinely good news (it’s wild that regulators only consider impacts to male bodies in their testing). But we desperately need safety testing for people outside vehicles. The auto industry keeps building models with higher crosswalk kill rates, but regulators don’t even test this so 5 Stars!

"If this is meant to intimidate me and other members of Congress from doing our jobs and holding this administration accountable, it won't work. I've given too much to this country to be silenced by bullies..."

How wonderful that Boston knows that its Mayor has music in her very core, and understands about form, harmony, creativity, and synthesis. And that she has such poise under pressure.
Music should be for everyone: it makes life bigger, and richer, & allows for collective magic moments like this one.

I feel washing machine manufacturers have really dropped the ball: there should be a “Bathers” setting which is a 5-minute rinse and a quick spin; just enough to get the salt or chlorine out of the towels and bathers*, and spun enough that they might dry overnight.

And you could guess, from someone’s phone number, the area in the city where they lived.
Once upon a time all our names were listed in a big book next to our addresses and phone numbers and they would deliver a copy of this book to all the houses.

Today I fed the maternal unit so much food and she ate it all and was falling asleep in front of the telly and I may have killed her but I am hoping just gave her a decent night’s sleep. She is someone put off food the moment there is emotional turmoil, so I have been slowly upping her intake.
