Yo!!!! How exciting is this??
Next week we will release the first in a new 7 part series. I sat down for 7 one-on-one sessions, with 7 amazing people to play the @kultrpg.bsky.social scenario outline The Driver. They were all given the same options to choose from and we got 7 very different games. #TTRPGs #ActualPlay #Horror

Come with me again to the Northfarthing in my Middle-earth Hexcrawl project. Missing booze at a wayside inn, an eccentric hobbit's ill-considered hedgemaze, and a missing hobbit child are some of the strange adventures burglars might find as they take the Northway from Oatbarton to Greenfield.

Anyone interested in starting a support group for folks that didn't immediately fall in love with GDT's Frankenstein?? It can't just be me, right? Absolutely gorgeous movie, but holy hell, what did they do to Shelley's creature?

How a flawed idea is teaching millions of kids to be poor readers
For decades, schools have taught children the strategies of struggling readers, using a theory about reading that cognitive scientists have repeatedly debunked. And many teachers and parents don't kno...

My newest review is up, this time for The Buffalo Hunter Hunter by @sgj.bsky.social.

I say "review" but it ended up being more than that, because this book had a pretty profound impact on me.

The Buffalo Hunter Hunter by Stephen Graham Jones
First, the reviewer's bare minimum: The Buffalo Hunter Hunter is one of the best books I've read this year. It's Stephen Graham Jones at his most ambitious—a 448-page historical horror novel that uses...

Reposting this as it's a piece of @guydavisart.bsky.social art that most folks have likely never seen. From my weird western OGN Strangeways: Murder Moon, all the way back in 2008 (probably drawn in 2005 though.)

At the risk of hubris, tagging @realgdt.bsky.social as he's a fan of Guy's work.

Most of the games we've published in the last 10 years (ie Monster of the Week, Thirsty Sword Lesbians, Blades in the Dark) either use the Powered by the Apocalypse engine or are hugely influenced by it.
Happy to back this latest incarnation from the Bakers.
Strongly recommend you check it out:
