🚨 “Can I tell you how many times in the last 45 years the European Court of Human Rights has ruled against the UK when it comes to deporting people from this country - only 13 times - in 45 years”

Please remember this in 2026 when Nigel Farage tells you we must leave the ECHR to control our borders
Human rights are universal - politicians may not always find them politically convenient but it shouldn’t fall to any government to say who those rights should & should not apply to. Because none of us then has rights, just privileges that can be taken away by those in power

Misericords and the like can exhibit entertaining play with dimensions. A two-dimensional relief carving on a three-dimensional canvas and he ends up aiming his arrow behind. At Worcester Cathedral, above an arm-rest in the choir, a two-dimensional horse in the round.

This is fucking grim. Somebody invented a white guy, an "IT professional" named Edward Crabtree, who stopped the Bondi shooting and spread it all over the internet, which was picked up by AI agents and slop aggregation sites.

The real hero is a fruit stand owner named Ahmed el Ahmed.

“If this is the level of shamelessness [Farage’s] media supporters are willing to stoop to when he is a mere fourth party opposition politician, just imagine the levels they will descend to should he ever get a real whiff of power”

It just *must* not happen.

The Farage Apologists
The same commentators that spent years condemning anti-semitism in UK politics as a major national scandal, have suddenly lost interest now that it implicates one of their own

Illegal mountain of waste next to river 'utterly appalling', says PM
Sir Keir Starmer has called the pile of fly-tipped illegal waste next to a river in Oxfordshire "utterly appalling" and said "all available powers" will be used to make those responsible cover the cost of the clean-up.

My guess as to why is the same as yours... building company lobbyists. Still pathetic though. Would cost them hardly anything per house and cost easily transferable to the buyer.

This is one of those leave 'em and love 'em meals. For all the ease of express-style food, there is a lot to be said for simply stashing something in the oven for an hour or two when stuck in too-tire...
