Trump voters wanted the rest of us to suffer to feel great again. They wanted us to experience pain. The ones crying now with "I didn't know Trump would do that" mean they didn't think it would affect THEM. But they were perfectly fine with everyone else suffering.

I know we can’t run around on fire every time Trump says something but he appears to have just announced the new US policy on Gaza which is to take ownership of it, ethnically cleanse it of the 1.8 million Palestinians there and maintain a long term ownership stake as it’s “developed.”

Nixon came into office after LBJ's disaster in Vietnam then had CIA operatives raid the DNC at Watergate. The GOP actually ousted him themselves. The oligarchs were seriously pissed. They hired Reagan, killed the fairness doctrine and brought Fox News to the US. The GOP is owned by them now.
