I watched ABC World News Tonight and it felt like watching the news from an alternate universe. Mostly plane crashes and human interest bullshit. Maybe 30 seconds on USDA removing mentions of climate change from websites. Nothing on Musk taking over Treasury’s payments system. Nothing about the coup

I went back to an old ms thinking it was an awful lot of words and surely some of them were good only to find it was mostly me rewriting the same three scenes over and over again. A novel it is not. Awful it is #authorthreads

Too often book bans and challenges makes us feel we have to defend our books and prove they don’t contain the material the banners claim. But we need to realize they already know and don’t care. We need to be on the offensive and fight bans and fight for the freedom to read. #AABB
