Look how misaligned the "D" and final "R" in DEPARTMENT OF WAR are. The Getty watermark obscures it, but the "U" and final "A" of UNITED STATES OF AMERICA are off, too.

[P] Plenty more wrong with this seal, of course. There's a little skewing (I assume from the camera lens), but it sure looks like the bottom lettering is on a different, more oval path than the surrounding borders and isn't vertically centered. These green lines are of equal length.

a few years ago I realized that ALL the artists I thought were cool are all actually huge nerds, it just happens that they’re also nerds about cool shit too

Just noticed on an old VHS that Robert Patrick was wearing a NIN shirt when he was 3D scanned for the T-1000. That would have been 1990, so he was proudly supporting his brother Richard Patrick, who was in a new band called Nine Inch Nails at the time.

just saw Herbie Hancock at the Strathmore. played almost exclusively progressive jazz, went ~1 hour over time, much of the overage stemming from a nearly 40m lecture on evolution, compassion, & futurism done entirely via vocoder, and saved almost all the accessible fusion for post-lecture. the GOAT!

I'm not saying EVERYONE that I write liner notes for will go on to collab with Rosalía, Björk, and Yves Tumor. I'm just saying that it has happened in the past, so we can't rule it out. Better hire me just in case
