Kremlin is not interested in peace. Putin’s mafia needs the war to still stay in power. They initiate peace talks only to delay new US sanctions and to create disagreements and chaos among the western countries. But Russia’s economic ruin is on the way. Only wait.

I suspect Trump wants Ukraine sorted out before dealing with Venezuala. Russia might make life difficult by shipping advanced weapons to Maduro's army.

Great. There isn’t a US peace plan so no engagement necessary

The Russian peace plan can feck all the way off until it falls out of a high window

What are you playing at FT?

Does anyone actually believe that Trump cares about loss of Ukrainian life?
He has only one agenda and that's appeasing Putin, whilst making money in the process. He will forever be remembered as one of the greatest intelligence agency failures in allowing him to get anywhere near high office.

Instead, they spend weeks slagging off Labour for allowing a donor to pay for glasses for its leader . There are many fine British journalists, but by God, some dodgy ones.

Odd how these "patriots" serve Russian masters.
There used to be an offense that covered that?

...& one guy was so good at spouting Russian propaganda that the Kremlin offered him a job.

(Clearly, Gill was a mere amateur in their eyes)

Farage said almost word for word what Gill was paid to say.

Either Farage was also paid, or he said what he actually believes - which makes him a threat in itself.

Is not impressing the Russian leader a prerequisite to being a member of the Reform UK political party (private company?)?

Why were the Russians paying Gill when Farage was spouting the same rhetoric seemingly for free ?🤔

Let’s never forget rationing ventilators and Zoom funerals. Boris Johnson and his cronies partied while our loved ones lay dying alone. COVID-19 was the worst public health crisis in a century. We should have locked down earlier. To some of us, PPE was not a get-rich-quick commodity.

I'd also make the point that this system has created a way for Elon to directly pay for Russian Propaganda whilst maintaining some plausible deniability regarding this.

,,, if only govts the world over would do something about it, eh? Though they know that if they did they'd face a barrage of" free speech" from the same folks who hate free speech for anyone that disagrees with them.

Also, Musk et al would finance their opposition.

🚄Excellent news - the government is freezing rail fares!🚄

Next we need REDUCTIONS as UK rail fares are out of control

But this is a step in the right direction after 30 years of privatisation and a win for public ownership! 🎉🎉🎉
