Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.

As a Disabled-led business, we know the barriers to Disabled people working aren't going to be solved by this.
Reducing the 1yr+ waiting list for Access to Work could.
Reducing NHS waiting times for treatment could.
Making sure employers provide necessary accommodations could.
This is so fucking stupid

We have reached a point where the dehumanisation of marginalised people is normalised. This is terrifying.

At Lex Scotland we know wealth inequality is a serious issue, and leads to marginalisation. It also means marginalised people don't have the services and supports they need.
Should aristocrats get blank cheques while the poorest have bailiffs at the door?

#LexLeaders aren't just CEOs and bosses. They are also leaders in our communities. Peaceful protest is a vital part of being able to influence change on the things that impact us and matter to us.

As a trans-led organisation, we will be continuing to acknowledge and support trans people.
Watch this space for some free training coming soon!
“The word ‘transgender’ is only used in the title of the LGBT section, and is not found anywhere else in the document.”

The censorship is institutionalised transphobia. Despite what courts/politicians claim, the term “biological sex” does not have a simple meaning. Young people deserve much better!
RSE guidance is “patently and cruelly transphobic” - community responds to ‘Section 28 2.0’ curriculum
It has taken a "trans exclusionary" approach and received widespread condemnation from the LGBTQIA+ community

“The causes of NSD are not yet fully understood. Some people blame environmental factors, or a lack of vaccines, but we do know that genetics play an important part. This means that if you have neurotypical family members, that does place your child at increased risk.”

Holocaust survivor Stephen Kapos on protest ⬇️

The crackdown on our right to protest started with rhetoric- ministers saying peaceful protests are “hate marches”.

Now it’s in policy, expanding police powers to crackdown on our right to speak truth to power.

As someone who worked in schools under section 28 back in the 1990s, this sounds far too familiar...
4/ Supreme Court ruling could be taught to children

The guidance also sets out that schools should teach what laws apply to the gender-critical dog whistle 'biological sex' - a term, which still doesn't have a specific legal definition.

This day/week aims to raise awareness and understanding of non-binary people.

Here in the UK non-binary people lack legal recognition, face barriers to accessing healthcare and other spaces which are divided in binary categories, increasing hate crime and discrimination in employment and services.

Unlikely this will be anywhere near as widely reported as the initial ban advice, so let's make sure as many people are aware of this as possible
None of those newspapers (or the BBC) that gleefully ran stories when the EHRC gave trans people a shoeing will now report on the EHRC admitting they (and hence those stories) were wrong. Are those outlets craven - or dishonest?

Thank goodness for the legal press. www.law360.com/articles/235...
