In Oversight today, my colleagues stuck to their usual script: blaming immigrants for all crime & claiming Dem mayors are too soft. Well, I was curious to know if they’ve ever had an immigrant with a criminal record that they could recall. Tune in!

The CFPB has:

-Returned $20B to victims of financial fraud
-Cracked down on junk fees
-Fought against politically-motivated debanking
-Protected veterans from predatory lenders
-Protected consumers' data from corporate abuse

Oligarchs want to reverse all of this.

Senators from Colorado, Michigan, New Hampshire, and Virginia especially, have been rolling out the red carpet for this cabinet from Hell. Vote accordingly.
Every single Democratic Senator agreed to unanimous consent to allow the confirmation of this dangerous, autocratic nominee. Bondi will weaponize the DOJ. It’s a five alarm fire.

And Democrats allowed it. Many of them went to a protest today at Treasury and lied about doing everything they could.
The Senate just voted to confirm Pam Bondi, a 2020 election denier, as U.S. Attorney General.

All Republicans and one Democrat voted for Bondi.

46 Democrats voted against Bondi.

Here are the options on the table (which are not mutually exclusive):

1. House Dems bring articles of impeachment*

2. Senate Dems play constitutional hardball and obstruct everything

3. State AGs litigate (and prosecute) everything they can

4. Citizens march en mass

Well if you ever wanted to wage a tax protest, now might be a good time. Not only is there a hiring freeze at the IRS but it doesn't expire with all the rest. AND these clowns want to reassign existing IRS agents as southern border guards.
