The Reform Party now takes cryptocurrency donations. Ireland banned them. The UK welcomes them. And Farage calls it freedom. It’s not. It’s money without accountability – and that’s a threat to democracy, argues Prof Richard Murphy.

Cryptocurrency: lawlessness disguised as liberty
Cryptocurrency is sold as radical innovation and financial liberation. In reality, it’s an old familiar story: fraud

Nothing says you oppose incitement to violence like using your conference to platform someone who urged people to set fire to hotels full of migrants.

Zia Yusuf knows less about his own party than I do.

Gill is not some rando who once met Nigel.

Gill was Reform Leader in Wales and a close ally of Nigel Farage for over a decade before that across two other political parties. This is not something that can just be brushed away.
Really, Reform UK? THIS is what you're going with? That this man, who served as an MEP next to Nigel Farage for years and was made leader of your party in Wales by current deputy, Richard Tice, is just "one of tens of thousands of people Nigel meets on an annual basis"?~AA

Last night he was pitch-perfect. Inspirational, self-reflective, gracious to his haters, championing the 1st Amendment & most importantly: FUNNY.

This must be a watershed moment. The government's continued use of X is no longer simply negligent. It is an act of conscious assistance to violent extremism.
The common sense meaning should make this Elon Musk's "rivers of blood" moment

Though I think he goes further than Enoch Powell in a couple of important ways
Elon Musk spoke by video to Tommy Robinson's anti-immigrant rally in the UK today.

"You're in a fundamental situation here where, whether you choose violence or not, violence is coming to you," said Musk. "You either fight back or you die."

“Turn the next election into a choice between Labour and Reform and rely on everyone voting Labour to block Reform” is a bad tactic to start with.

But it’s a *terrible* tactic when you do absolutely nothing to oppose Reform while in government.
