What’s the catch. You there is one.
In a dramatic reversal, Trump now says House Republicans should vote for a measure calling for the release of the Epstein files, essentially a concession that he cannot stop the resolution from being passed. @ashleyahn88.bsky.social www.nytimes.com/live/2025/11...

Reminder: there are no trade deals. Nothing binding was actually signed. 90% of news coverage you saw about “trade deals” was wildly misleading. It’s pretty weird. And it will get weirder as “deals” turn out to be not deals, actually.
JPMORGAN: “.. China’s soybean purchases are stalling, potentially putting the trade agreement at-risk, as the 13% tariff on soybeans makes Brazilian / Latin American alternatives more attractive. Further, the elevated purchases made by China in the recent months lowers demand ..”

And this is why the “deal” is bullshit. You can’t trust them. How many times do they have to do this before Dems wake up and see Lucy for who she is?!!
Speaker Johnson has literally said he's "not promising anyone anything."

For once, I believe him.

“Obviously our folks have an interest in having some of our own ideas out there,”

Soooo, the priority is “owning” the solution?? Disgusting. It may not be perfect, but it works and if their egos weren’t in the way and they were doing their jobs, they’d with to improve what’s already in place! 🤬🤬🤬
Democrats want to extend Obamacare credits. Republicans have other ideas.
Democrats are racing to negotiate an agreement on extending Affordable Care Act tax credits with little indication Republicans will get on board.

Is the shutdown over? Not yet.
Tonight’s vote was only step 1 of 5.
There’s still another 60-vote hurdle, amendments, AND then the House.
Pressure matters right now—especially on Kaine, Rosen, Hassan, Shaheen.
Stay loud.

The utter stupidity of pursuing a criminal trial against someone for throwing a sandwich that bounced off a bullet proof vest pissing away hundreds of thousands of dollars for this joke is the perfect encapsulation of this Administration.

In Trump's first term, he was directly responsible for 25% OF ALL US DEBT acquired – going back to the beginning of the country. In the last 9.5 months, he's added another $4 Trillion to the national debt.

Scream this at every Republican who claims they're the party of fiscal responsibility.

So much wrong with this tweet, but also, I’m going to guess he doesn’t regularly shop for groceries. If he did, he’d know that &4,200 doesn’t go as far as you’d think/expect it to.
Rep. Clay Higgins of Louisiana blames SNAP recipients for not stockpiling a month's worth of food.

He ends his tweet with "stop smoking crack."

-90% to people born in 🇺🇸
-86% to households with kids
-70% work full time but aren’t paid a living wage (aka corporate welfare)

Remember: The richest 1% evade over $160 billion in taxes every year.

That amount would fund SNAP for a year with money to spare.

Ask yourself who the real freeloaders are.

We're seeing a massive institutional deportation and state violence apparatus being built and it honestly feels like people dont grasp the sheer scale of it and what already is in place. For every horrific video of masked feds kidnapping people there are so many people pushing paper to help.
NEW: ICE is planning to build a shadow deportation network in Texas. A proposal outlines a 24/7 transport operation run by armed contractors—turning Texas into the logistical backbone of an industrialized deportation machine.
