HUGE FLIP: Democrat Catelin Drey wins deep-red state Senate seat in Iowa, breaking the GOP's supermajority.

Drey won by 11 points in a district Donald Trump carried by 11 points last year. It's another massive overperformance. The Iowa GOP should be very worried for the midterms.

Our full writeup:
Iowa Democrats win massive upset to break GOP supermajority
Catelin Drey's victory may portend more good news for Democrats next year

I think Run For Something is definitely one of the political organizations I've been most disappointed with compared to what they were doing in Trump 1.
I am not saying it's 100% the reason she's saying this, but also it's definitely part of it that this is fundraising for her org.

So they found a 125,000 yr old Neanderthal fat rendering plant & I have thoughts.

Knowing that they loved saturated fat SO MUCH that they industrialized to get as much of it as humanly possible?

Makes me feel seen, heard, supported, etc www.science.org/doi/10.1126/...

Everything changes when you understand the collection of hosts on CNN are paid shameless dipshits for people on social media to correct. That is just their job. That is their life, And while I and you cannot imagine functioning this way – it is something not uncommon in the human repertoire.

little known fact, but raytracing hasn’t improved since the quake demo on a 2060, and also it’s capitalism’s fault that game devs aren’t spending their time baking lighting for hardware old enough to be in third grade
