Doctors Without Borders had to come in to the richest country in the world to help the Navajo Nation because the US government did this instead.
Culminating in Navajo Nation asking the federal government for PPE and being sent BODY BAGS. Not "limited PPE and some body bags." Just body bags.

Another favorite is the treaties with the Native Americans were so long ago. Our government today shouldn’t be held to those agreements. Most of them were from Lincoln’s presidency.

Today the Apache Stronghold went to the US Supreme Court, laying down prayers as they filed the Re-appeal to Protect Oak Flat and Mother Earth. They ask everyone to unite in prayer with them as they continue to defend their sacred site from a destructive copper mining project.

One of the things that keeps missing from the conversation about the govt trying to sell off all this land is the importance of these areas to Native Americans.
