The Supreme Court, to whose prestige Epps owes his entire career (of producing non-peer reviewed “scholarship”), is an institution that historically gets it wrong FAR more often than it gets anything right. But Epps is absolutely desperate to maintain its mystique, because he owes everything to it.

It's not just that they're going to strike down a law against conversion therapy, it's that they're going to do it on behalf of made-up claims from a straw plaintiff who can't honestly show the law affected her at all

Here's a crazy idea -- what if Democrats were unified as a party in telling the American public the truth, which is that immigrants are (1) more law abiding than natural born citizens (2) good for the economy and (3) just generally make the US better and more interesting
