This is the essence of reporting "science" versus public health: stop putting people off discovering the joy of moving their bodies and being out in common space by telling them they're not optimising. Report science better, report joy more.
The best walking is the walking you actually do, not the optimal walking recommended by the latest scientific study (which will feed into the evidence base that informs longer term advice on physical activity)
