Double entendre title of the week. This book is from 2005 and appears to be from a UK or HK publisher but I really think someone should have told them.

You know who else is controversial and a lot of people don't like? Pot. Kettle.
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

I know Bob LaFolette is an important midwestern Progressive Governor and he died 50 years before Mtv, but damn if he doesn't look like Beavis here.

So a parent could reasonably let an adult date their 15 year old daughter, but it's not reasonable to let her choose books she likes at the library, because they could unduly influence her immature brain?
The hypocrisy burns.
"don't worry, he's just into 15-year-olds" perhaps not as exculpatory as you think
Also 15-year-olds are not "barely legal." They are minors.
Megyn Kelly: "I know somebody very close to this case…Jeffrey Epstein, in this person's view, was not a pedophile…He was into the barely legal type, like he liked 15 year old girls…He wasn't into like 8 year olds…There's a difference between a 15 year old and a 5 year old."

Re: the end of IRS freefile: file thru snailmail paper, especially if you owe. You can use tax act or other tax prep software to do the math for you, and you just copy the amount before you get to the payment screen. If you aren't expecting a refund or aren't depending on it, slow walk your return.

Today I learned that the author of the very first "for dummies" title (DOS for dummies) is now a Mayor. I recognized his name since I've probably ordered several dozen of his computer books for public libraries I've worked for over the last 3 decades.

Now generate one where Cuomo comes to your door and instead of taking 52% of your candy, he sexually pesters your wife.
Cuomo keeps embarrassing himself with AI slop ads.

Wtf. I can't recommend you watch this, but I'm posting it as though it was cuddled milk and I'm asking you if youve ever smelled anything so awful.
This is an actual campaign ad by Andrew Cuomo.

It features an AI generated pregnant and feminized "bill."

Aw man, spent so much on weed gummies to give to unsuspecting trick or treaters that I'm not gonna make rent.

kidding aside, best Halloween I spent in the 2010s was giving out candy in a semi-affluent neighborhood in Seattle my pal was renting in. We had box wine in solo cups for the parents.

For the last time, not-Goths, Zombie by the Cranberries and Ghost Town by the Specials aren't spooky Halloween songs.

I'd like to remind nice people that if you can afford it (ie your employer pays you for your jury service or you won't suffer for missing work), don't shirk jury duty. it's is a way you can make a direct and meaningful difference.

I'm just waiting for the Fox News spin when Grandpa finally gets in front of a live mike and says Poo poo pee pee repeatedly while grabbing his crotch.
Hours before this he was bragging about how he supposedly aced a cognitive exam.

Also, fun fact, there's no such thing as a man who likes to cook. that is why 99% of all single men died of starvation in March 2020 during covid restaurant closures.

Love that fan boys continue to define MASS MEDIA sensations as niche. Wait till he finds out there are Swifties over 40.
