Also there should be mandatory retirement for any government worker (including senators) over 70 in the 24% tax bracket (or above). I am myself a county employee and not selfish enough to hold my job after my house is paid off and I can get medicare.

Ah yes, Rod dreher, who wrote an ode to his small hometown while dealing with his sister's death from cancer (she never left the small town). Buried in the mix is that town is in an area dubbed "cancer alley" due to all the chemical plants operating with minimal restrictions. But sure, cities suck.
