Something I really hate about the US-centric "anime is mainstream now" narrative is how local media outlets are uncritically picking it up, I've seen several headlines like that following Kimetsu no Yaiba's box office success, as if the 40something years of anime history in Italy never existed

If you see any business owners belittling SNAP recipients for accepting government money to get through tough times, maybe look them up on @propublica.org's PPP Loan Tracker to see if they got any of the $793B in bailout money (96% of which was forgiven)

If you live in a state with a large rural population, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE consider investigating which areas in your region are food deserts & consider possibly giving to food banks that serve them. Rural food deserts are going to be the regions worst hit by the SNAP cutoff. Absolutely devastating.

I really hate to have to do this but i just had a deer jump in front of my work van (and everday car) on the highway and total the bumper/fender and I need to open some emergency commissions to help cover the cost of repair and help me stay afloat while it's in the shop.

Listen to me. Listen. If you're making images that will only be displayed on screens, YOU HAVE TO LET GO. You can calibrate your screens perfectly, but then 25k people will see it on their shitty $50 monitors or cracked phone and its out of your hands. Don't think of it. Achieve enlightenment.
