If I, a video game designer, could have one message to all the nerds in the world, it would be don't worry about your PCs and consoles, we'll just make games for the ones you already have and they're going to be great. Instead, spare a thought for all the medical equipment at your nearest hospital.
I understand framing the AI bubble RAM supply crisis in terms of stuff like video game consoles because nerds can conceptualize that but the framing does really undersell the sheer magnitude of how it's going to fuck up everything that even touches a computer.
