Life situations are bleak right now for a lot of people. In tech, the "Venn Diagram" of (1) positive work and (2) making enough money to support your family is increasingly non-overlapping. We all do what we can.

I worked on this issue, litigating it from 2000-3017 and then advocacy from 2017-2019. When the FCC set the first caps, staff got Commission Clyburn a cake that said "2.3 million children than you."
I'm not so much heartbroken as so very tired.

This is madness. Today we had to send a message to our 1L students telling them it’s not a great idea to use the first drafts of their first legal writing assignments because the new OCI timeline is so early they are wondering if they should.
