For further context twitter added a button that allows users to generate ai images using existing art posts from artists. It removes glaze and it basically reskins the artwork by using the existing work as a base. Twitter is no longer a safe space for art

LRP this is why I refuse to bust out the pitchforks unless it's 100% certain. hell, even studio heads saying "we're using AI" isn't enough to get my hackles up on its own, bc they could just as easily be talking about standard automation tools that have been rebranded. I need more info before I act.

i think my biggest issue with that article about the larian ceo using ai is actually a sort of side thing where he states that games are a technology led industry. that is a crazy statement to make after releasing bg3 and dos2, both of which could have released in the 90s almost unchanged

I keep seeing cases of "artists" scamming customers by tracing AI Slop, ghosting, etc...
What embitters me more is the fact that in a single strike they:
1) Steal someone's money
2) Prevent honest artists from getting commissions
3) Validate AI sloppers' idea "AI delivers art for free in no time"
