Thinking about TotK again. I spent a lot of time designing a self-imposed set of custom rules in the hopes of making it feel more interesting. I had good results in my last run, but lost interest after the temples.

It's difficult to make rules that feel "right." I wonder if I can make some more...

Are there any retro platformers (pure platformers, with no other types of player actions, like attacking) that use the Classicvania fixed jump arc?

I'm curious to see if its ever been done - and how it feels when the entire scope of the game is platforming around a level.
