I wasn't feeling too hopeful for art at the beginning, I barely drew anything and I didn't draw anything in June at all. Without getting TOO personal, life and business has been difficult especially in the artist space. It's happening to everyone, but it hit me pretty hard for awhile. Somewhere in the middle of the year though, a friend commissioned me to just kinda do what I wanted to do and I felt a long dead connection to my work- from there on I felt a lot more confident about my skills and started trying to open commissions to the public again (with some encouragement and help from my sister, and of course my close friends and guildmates ♥)! I felt a lot more fulfilled as a result and kept trying, though I feel I still have a lot to learn about art. The journey doesn't feel as arduous anymore, even with the current artist climate, but I will keep on trying to draw...!! Thank you for reading this, and to the people who are following me along my journey to hone my skills and bring happiness to others through my work. For the new year, I hope I can work with more people that inspire me to create gorgeous things, and get comfortable posting my own ocs again...! My goal is to be a jack of all trades, but I don't mind getting to draw more pretty ladies either...... 🐱

If you want to avoid the edit image button with additional safety nets, you can use Clipchamp or any other video editing software and upload your art as a video - it removed the edit button and also plops an overlay on the art

highly recommended for advertising on Twitter IF you need to!
