This is devastating news.

In his first major decision, Environment Minister Murray Watt has extended the life of Australia's largest oil & gas project until 2070.

Tuvalu's Climate Minister Maina Talia said the extension "would threaten our survival".

Time for a climate damage compensation levy on the companies who are exporting fossil fuels from Australia.

As VIC debates how to fund emergency services such as the CFA & SES, a levy like this would mean we would never have to ask a farmer to pay a contribution for emergency services ever again.

We are already in a climate emergency.

Pumping more pollution into our one & only biosphere will only make matters worse.

Expect much more damage & much more expensive insurance costs.
