I need the whole country to recognize that saying we are not in a constitutional crisis because Donald Trump has not openly defied a court order is like saying a man who throws things at you, threatens you, controls and belittles you, isn’t abusive because he hasn’t hit you. The “yet” is implied.

I used (maybe coined?) a phrase to describe a frustrating coworker that comes to mind when I read the news these days: incompetence feels like innovation to people who don’t understand the work.
