Try not to live your life in such a way that when someone says "infamous level asshole" almost everyone remotely industry-adjacent reading it knows EXACTLY who is being talked about.
There is a person who eventually turned out to be an infamous level asshole, but the first time someone introduced me to him I had my name tag flipped backwards so he didn't think I was important and he literally looked me up and down and turned away.

Later he tried to walk that back but you can't.
Talking to one of these types at a con who asked how I 'got in' with so many 'famous writers' who I'd been talking to and I said "we made friends before anyone knew who we were decades ago by striking up interesting conversations and enjoying each other's company" and he kept re-asking the question.

Obvs I have to pick the Haberdashers.
OK, less contentious post:

You've been placed in charge of a movie studio, and have an unlimited budget to adapt any work of your choosing that has never been made into a live-action TV series or film. What are you picking?

For me: PC Hodgell's Kencyrath Cycle and there's no close second

Grand Moff Tarkin: Obi-Wan Kenobi? What makes you think so?
Darth Vader: A tremor in the Force. The last time I felt it was in the presence of my old master.

Me: Because Obi-Wan could drop the beats.

The Lord of The Rings movies were rated PG-13. By current rules that means that each film could contain one use of the word "Fuck". Which line are you altering to insert the most useful swear word?

My favorite thing about Die Hard, and what I think makes it such a classic, is that every single character in the movie is written as though they think they're the hero of a movie called Die Hard. The FBI team think they're in a buddy action film. Ellis DEFINITELY thinks he's the main character.

To be fair, Ellis would abso-fucking-lutely livepost the Nakatomi Plaza incident.
I hope everyone has a cozy night with their loved ones this evening. I won’t, though, because I have to head up to Nakatomi Plaza thanks to my flippin’ boss scheduling the holiday office party ON CHRISTMAS EVE WTF (🧵)
