Fascinating world of ancient #glass: a stunning Egyptian glass vessel in the shape of a #fish, it was probably used to hold ointments.
Found in El-Amarna, #Egypt, 14th century BC.

“Why is it my lord is silent while I wag my tail and run about like a dog?”

I’ve been left on read too many times.

A man named Ashur-resiwa is begging a superior to answer his previous 3 letters, and we can maybe all relate to both sides of this particular coin.

I hate this to the depths of my soul. Being able to pick up multiple mmpb for the price of a single hardcover allowed me to own more of the books I loved. The size is perfect, too, for a purse or a pocket so that I could always have a book with me & they can easily be held w/ 1 hand.

At the end of the day, I count on my publisher to do two things: get my print books in bookstores and libraries. Sure, they do other stuff, but those are the things I care about that are harder to do indie, & why I give them most of the profits.

I hope Reid’s agent is breathing fire at Harlequin.
NEW: It’s not just readers that suffer due to Harlequin’s mismanagement of the' Heated Rivalry' books. Reid misses out on royalties, & booksellers miss out on commissions—which is especially painful during the holiday season when many small businesses make the bulk of their money.
was ‘heated rivalry’ failed by its publisher?
everyone's devouring the new TV series, so why can't people buy a copy of the book the show is based on?

Dammit, retailers, when I search for “dressing gown” I do not want a selection of flannel bathrobes, I want the one Hercule Poirot wore in the first season of Agatha Christie’s Poirot.

Spotify is garbage on every count: Its treatment of artists, its ICE advertising, the CEO's investment in military AI, its leading role in the commodification and AI slopification of music, its terrible audio quality—you name it.

So I quit, and put together a complete guide to getting off Spotify:
How to quit Spotify

You are ABSOLUTELY NOT going to regret listening to this bird:
A male rock ptarmigan (Lagopus muta) in winter plumage.

Ptarmigan is from Gaelic 'tarmachan' meaning "croaker". The p- was added when people mistakenly assumed it was a Greek word.

A bird forever warning people: "A werewolf!" (just in case of werewolves).

The success of HEATED RIVALRY blows apart two massive Hollywood myths, proving:

1) Gay intimacy on screen is NOT bad for business.

2) The Anti sex-scene discourse is horseshit. Audiences are horny and want horny things. 12 Year olds with anime pfp don't constitute a demographic worth catering to.
