My latest piece goes out either Monday or Tuesday next week, it's called "The Era of the Business Idiot." I believe our society is in the thrall of middle management, and it's turned our economy into a series of symbolic gestures between people that don't really know what's going on.

I’ve been feeling this hard working in software. with AI tools becoming the norm in the industry, the output expectations have skyrocketed, even tho these tools are at best giving you a 10-15% boost
I've been battling severe burnout for a few years now. And while I can get work done again, seeing how optimized every facet of the online space has become towards constant output feels extremely unhealthy in general.

If you've enjoyed Cryptmaster, please consider sharing the news. Despite an IGF award, a 95% Steam rating and a free demo, the game has gone mostly unnoticed by both press and players. It's not just a typing game and there may still be people out there who would enjoy it!

STEM is so cool. Science is amazing. Kids should develop curiosity about how the universe works and proficiency in uncovering its secrets, so that they can most effectively optimize clickthrough rates on banner ads at the bottom of VC-funded website-apps.

Had to get a passport-style photo taken at a Walgreens in the US and a weird guy walked past and said "hell yeah white boy you take that picture" and I laughed for a full minute. I can tell I'm still fighting not to laugh in this but it's probably not too obvious right. Do I need to retake this
