back when i was following tiktok tre— i mean, thought i was gay, i went as far as getting married. reflecting on that time, i see things i could’ve done differently but i also find myself asking: “could they have better ensured that i was a *real* gay before just… handing me a marriage certificate?”

Really doesn’t matter what point an ally is trying to make if they use the “biological” language they’re doing more harm than good cause they have already ceded the fundamentals
as a rule i am very much in favour of picking our rhetorical battles, at least in terms of public comms. but we cannot cede a single fucking inch on the "biological woman" framing without accepting permanent status as second-class citizens
