The money is there. There are contingency funds. Trump is simply not releasing it because he wants people to starve and blame Democrats even though Republicans hold both chambers of Congress and the White House. And the media will happily go along.
In the 60-year history of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, it’s never run out of money. Here are the states suing the federal government over it.

Yesterday in Shilling v. Trump (the 9th Circuit case about the military transgender ban), the government admitted that it has found no evidence to support any of the "traits" that the Secretary of Defense attributed to transgender servicemembers.

The only thing you really need to remember about Chiles v. Salazar is that ADF couldn't find any children harmed by not being able to find counselors who will practice conversion therapy—

so they rely on anonymous complaints on Reddit.

It's a fucking joke.

But we still have work to do. As the author of the Restore Honor to Service Members Act, I’m committed to giving veterans who were dishonorably discharged under this policy the benefits and dignity they deserve.

I was proud to join neighbors in Rogers Park this morning protesting Donald Trump's authoritarian plan to deploy masked federal agents into our streets. Silence is compliance, we must be LOUD. #HandsOffChicago

It's not normal for an American president to send troops to American cities in times of peace.

Chicago, document what you see and be loud for America.

Texas loaded busses with desperate migrants and dropped them off in Chicago like trash in the middle of winter. We welcomed them into our communities. Now Texas is sending its National Guard to terrorize them on our streets. In our neighborhoods. What the fuck.
