Logan Square folks seem to have a love-hate relationship with the new traffic circle area layout. They approve of the new plazas, and motorists say it's easier to drive through. But what's up with some of the bizarre bike and pedestrian routing?

Just heard from CPD. On 12/26, man, 25, was cycling SE on Milwaukee when wheel came off (not struck) in bike lane near Willard. He suffered injuries and was taken to Stroger in stable condition. Let's wish his a full/fast recovery.

Homelessness is not inherently a public transit problem, but the way Chicago, Cook County, and Illinois (mis)handles homelessness makes it one
NEW: beginning january 1, chicago will ban unhoused people on the sex offense registry from seeking shelter on public transit.

it’s the latest in a concerted effort by mayor johnson’s admin to criminalize homelessness on cta trains + buses and in public parks during the coldest months of the year.
