Collar counties aren't the only ones unhappy about new NITA governance structure. CTA board chief Lester Barclay is also bummed about Chicago mayor having less control over how the agency is run. Two words come to mind: "Dorval Carter."

One of IL Policy's endless gripes about the transit bill that's not completely unwarranted is "Why aren't fares going up next year?" Here's an explanation from Sen. Villivalam, one of the bill's architects, which is also reasonable.
