DHHS officials announced the referral for investigation on social media Jan. 15, naming five other hospitals in addition to Lurie's.

Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago closed this morning. The owner plans a news conference today not at Weiss, but at the other hospital he owns. Interesting choice.
