If any of you remember Adham Fisher, the Leicester, UK native (pictured above w/ then-CTA chief Forrest Claypool) who set the 'L' Racing record (AFAWK) years ago, he's still in the competitive transit riding game! Here's an article from last September:

Yes! We believe his nickname out in the western suburbs is "The Hillside Strangler." (Just kidding! That's the nickname for a highway interchange or something.)

Romanelli, who helped kill Chicago's plan for bus rapid transit, is now trying to do the same thing with an Illinois Department of Transportation proposal to relocate a section of the Prairie Path.
