There is a very loud amusement park right in front of my present lodgings.
They’re going to end up re-kidnapping him to get him out of our legal system.

My wife kicked me out of bed cuz I farted so bad and I broke my pinkie toe on a dresser trying to find my way out of the bedroom in the dark (we were staying at her sister’s house).
What's the most ridiculous way you ever hurt yourself? I got out of the tub, skidded in water and tripped over the toilet. Ankle sprain.

😅

How do you not take a timeout there? Ben Johnson must be using this game as a training exercise or something.

Exactly. It’s the Saddam Trap all over again.
People are going to try and lure you into debates about whether Maduro was a good guy or not and the thing is, it doesn’t matter for the purposes of discussing whether violent kidnappings and extrajudicial murders by the US government are ok. No, they aren’t! End of convo.

Ok, everyone, what book is sacred enough to you to get sworn in on?
Strange takes on Mayor Zamdani swearing his oath on the Qu’ran. It has nothing to do with church & state. The point of the oath is for the person swearing in to do so upon some text that is sacred TO THEM. Some Presidents swore in w/o any book. John Quincy Adams was sworn on a law book. His choice.

This is the Sun-Times in a nutshell. On one hand, we were headed by this lipless smug asshat who we paid $900,000 to browbeat cringing underlings. On the other, we prominently laid out the whole story on a day the paper was rattling the cup extra hard. Whew.
