Am Freitag könnt ihr die vielen Menschen unterstützen, die sich derzeit beim Klimagipfel #COP30 in Belém für unsere Zukunft einsetzen - und auch ein Signal an die Bundesregierung senden. Jede Verzögerung von Klimaschutz kostet viel Geld, Glaubwürdigkeit, Menschenleben, Zukunft.

Humans really need to rethink this AI push by billionaires. It isn't that great. Not only is it overhyped technology, it uses a lot of energy and water. We will pay for that -- not the corporations. It needs to be regulated heavily.

With a return to the Pliocene locked-in, the only meaningful question is, will we stop there or maintain BAU until a return to the Middle Miocene becomes inevitable or - ultimately - the early Eocene?

The German government does not disappoint when it comes to joining the ranks of the contempary government excellence.

Wait for it.

They want to use the climate transformation fund to make 'natural' gas cheaper.
Die Gasspeicherumlage soll künftig aus dem Klima- und Transformationsfonds bezahlt werden. Das widerspricht dem eigentlichen Zweck dieses Fonds - und bindet pro Jahr rund 2 Milliarden Euro seiner Mittel.
