The pub analogy is so good - if your local got taken over and its name changed to “Bar X” you wouldn’t just not drink there, you would cross the road to avoid it.

Users leave X over:
- abuse
- disinterest
- censorship
- it’s home to a forum troll who has all the toys but no friends
We didn’t abandon a mature, civil chat about community issues, we left a dull app full of attention-seeking dorks

The ICC and ECB will forever be cricketing governing bodies in my head when I first see them.
What are some acronyms/abbreviations you can't help but read with the incorrect meaning? Any time I see "NEPA" meaning "Northeastern Pennsylvania" I read it as "National Environmental Policy Act."
"CB2" always reads as "Community Board 2" to me even when it's a reference to a furniture store.
