Arresting its own people who protest their taxes going to Israel’s violence. Sacrificing Americans killed by Israel. And now taking the US to a whole other war on behalf of Israel. What won’t this government do for Israel? And why won’t it spend any of that on helping people?

it rocks that the mandated position for every president is that they allow israel do basically do whatever they want as long as the media reports they are “concerned” or “frustrated” with israel

Abolish ICE is the compromise position. We need to abolish the entire Department of Homeland Security, which was created after 9-11 with the express purpose of terrorizing immigrant communities, activists, and ordinary people in a sickening display of security theater that does not make anyone safer

KOSA is being reintroduced today.

It's always been a dangerous censorship bill.

But in this environment, with Trump weaponizing every aspect of the Federal government to suppress speech he doesn't like, KOSA is a catastrophic attack on human rights.

We have to stop it.

KOSA is a censorship bill that won’t make kids safe. Instead, it'll put all internet users at risk, especially youth. If you believe in a free and open internet, tell your lawmakers to reject #KOSA!

Allow me to address the elephant in the room: The decades-long outsourcing of domestic manufacturing to China was not an insidious Chinese conspiracy for dominance but the greedy strategy of the American ruling class to explode its profit margins by exploiting global inequality.

This is why nobody takes you seriously as a political commentator on this site. You saw MONTHS of grassroots organizing on Gaza (which you still haven’t commented on btw, interesting), ICE, Trans rights and you decided that our saviors are actually wine moms and CONSERVATIVES? New levels of brainrot
It is not a coincidence that the most effective protest and resistance of the Trump era come from groups - suburban moms, even conservatives - who are fundamentally optimistic about the promise and values of America. They are betrayed, outraged, and highly motivated to save the nation.

If the precedent gets set that the president can remove nonprofit status from anyone he disagrees with, then any Democratic president in the future that allows the ADF and heritage and megachurches to be considered nonprofits is explicitly endorsing them.

Democratic Senators Mark Kelly (AZ), John Fetterman (PA) and Ruben Gallego (AZ) all voted to confirm this piece of shit btw
Today EPA chief Lee Zeldin announced that the agency is rolling back 31 regulations.

He's taking aim at mercury, soot, and toxic pollution restrictions, and federal protection of wetlands.

The EPA will also rewrite rules limiting pollution from fossil-fuel plants and cars, and more.

Here's the thing. There's no community or freedom or civil right you can sacrifice to the right wing that will satisfy their lust for control. You give an inch, they will mandate a mile.

And Americans want unapologetic leaders who see through the manipulation and refuse to back down.

The rush of basically every institution to go right wing as fast as possible, isn't actually indicative of a huge swing in the sentiment of their ostensible audience, it's just revealing that they kind of wanted to the whole time.

the idea that if we adopt the effective gop *techniques* somehow makes us liars just like them is a mind virus that affects the entirety of the democratic party
I was complaining about how the Democratic party had failed after the election to disclose how many irregularities there were. One person said “we can’t be just like them.” I was flummoxed that speaking truthfully would be seen as counter-strategic. In PA alone they had tons to be concerned about.

No, but you do have to accept some truths that rub hard against the liberal ethos:

1. Most people are civically illiterate.

2. Bc they are illiterate propaganda works

3. You can’t beat a propaganda campaign using normal “comms” strategy.

4. Yes, I’m mean but I’ll win shit.
