Things that are difficult when you don't speak the local language where you live: getting voicemail or regular mail. Thankfully Google Translate is good enough for most mail but it's still extra steps to try to translate before your language mastery is good enough.

I am the whitest of middle aged ladies and there is so much that I learned as an immigrant in another western country that most people never think of as "the immigrant experience"

I hate the way that a lot of corporate surveys are conducted. My car dealership presses hard for max scores or not putting in the survey at all but sometimes the service is a 7/10 not a 10/10 and there's no way to remedy the problem they've created that lost them 3 points.
