Wall Street was rescued from Trump's Covid crash in the first term by Democrats in the House and Senate loading the recovery bills with stimulus that saved the economy. They attributed it all to Trump and are shocked that he's actually a huge dumbass.

A quick act of resistance against this nonsense, as well as a show of solidarity with our fellow Americans who are federal civil service workers, is to send five things you accomplished this last week to Hr@opm.gov

…and go.

Fellow NSA - National Security Agency veterans. Look at what’s happened at the National Cryptologic Museum. They covered up with brown paper the photos of Women in American Cryptology. All in response to President Trump’s anti-diversity executive order.

Shut up you facist apologist. The noble protestors blocked the military and allowed the assembly to do their work.
That is nonsense. Civilians should get out of the way of anyone armed unless they want to get shot or hurt. Now is not the time for confrontation. Get that noble protester bs out of your head.

recap: if a president tried to frame a private citizen inc by hacking and falsifying evidence, attempted assassination of a us ambassador, withholding aid to a foreign country then when that fails spend years digging till they find something, offer a plea that’s rescinded by pressure from congress

I feel like a broken on this but, numerically, "the tech industry" is *part of the left*, with, for instance, Google employees being some of the primary donors to AOC

the *entire phenomenon* here is a wilful conflation of "tech company owners and VCs" with "tech"

If #python is a job security choice vs #rstats then more typing = more work = more secure jobs. So the clunkiness is actually a feature. Explains a few things hey?
This isn't really an #rstats vs #python thing but rather a tidyverse vs pandas thing, and for data wrangling the tidyverse API is just so darn good it's hard to compete with, which is why there are ports of it to other languages, e.g. Tidier in #julia, siuba in python
A good example about why Pandas is not an elegant tool for data analysis and wrangling. #SundayProvocation #python #rstats www.sumsar.net/blog/pandas-...
