Folks, I'm gonna leave this here. They want to name an airport after 45 and a few good people had the sense to put this petition together.
Because if we are renaming airports, it should be after a person who deserves it. And who is more deserving than Dolly Parton?

The US invasion of Iraq began on this day 22 years ago.

In the years since, the United States spent roughly $10 trillion on the so-called "war on terror."

Can you imagine if we had instead invested those funds in climate, health care, housing, and education?

Do not mess with librarians. They let complete strangers borrow their books. For a living. Even the hardcovers. They are so much stronger than you know.

How much do high egg prices really come from bird flu, and how much of it is just price gouging?

Libraries are great for the books, sure, but it's also nice to have a quiet and safe space to sit and think- a place where no one is trying to sell you anything.

Ever since, dark money and corporate interference has defined our elections.

Opinion | Libraries can help end the culture wars. That’s why they’re under fire.

No one should be denied a credit card or a loan because the American health care system is broken.

The CFPB’s decision to block medical debt from credit reports is a win for families who have been screwed over by greedy insurance companies.

Scientists, academics, researchers: We’re excited to share that @altmetric.com is now tracking mentions of your research on Bluesky! 🧪
There are already many articles for which there is more attention on Bluesky than on other comparable micro-blogging sites, meaning the academic community and the general public have clearly adopted Bluesky as one of its core places to disseminate and discuss new research.

A Place of Joy.
