Trump's Four Freedoms:

Freedom from shame. Freedom from accountability. Freedom from responsibility. Freedom from empathy.

This whole stupid, destructive mess is about being freed from the obligations of reasonable, kind, responsible adulthood.

The whole obsession Trnmp has over the peace prize is that Obama won it in 2009.

That's it. He refuses to be denied a prize that the black president won.

A hill I’ll keep dying on: Whatever your politics, the fact that so many U.S. leaders do not understand basic constitutional law—or willfully distort it—reflects extremely poorly on our country.

DOGE is effectively the new political compliance department. A DOGE representative in every department of government in charge of hiring and firing on behalf of an executive whose most prized trait is loyalty? They’re going to be the “political officers.”

It is worth noting again that the climate change deniers are running economic, energy and environmental policy, but the imperial conquest agenda is built off the reality of climate change
Following Trump nominees are climate deniers: EPA Administrator, Interior Secretary, Energy Secretary, Agriculture Secretary (so far). Them not believing in it doesn’t make it not true. Just means it’s that much harder & more expensive to address. #VoteBlue2026

“Botched story imploded” is a very weird way to gloss “West Point itself provided incorrect information, but reporters did proper journalism, realized it was a mistake, and got them to correct it.”
I can understand why rightwing media doesn't get reaching out for comment. Of the several dozen RW news outlets that mentioned me or quoted my social media posts (negatively) as an SPLC staffer, two have ever reached out for comment. Several made factual errors, including giving me a promotion.

It’s also just an absolute logistical nightmare. Most people have some way of proving where they were born. How many people have readily available documentary proof of their parents’ citizenship status?
The birthright citizenship portion of the US Constitution is totally, inarguably unambiguous. No wiggle room. If the supreme court agrees to throw it out they are explicitly throwing out the entire document and our entire system of government.
