Israel killed at least 104 people in Gaza, including 46 children, in overnight strikes on the Palestinian territory.

The attacks came after Israel claimed its soldiers came under attack by Hamas militants, though the group denied responsibility.

it's important to remember the people doing this aren't "just following orders," they signed up to do this, they're excited to do it, it's what they want to be doing, and each one of them is personally culpable for the entirety of ICE's conduct
In video provided exclusively to MSNBC's The Weekend: Primetime, immigration agents are seen attempting to pull a man out a window of a Chicago home. Agents also jumped a fence into the locked backyard and manhandled people doing work. Hear from the homeowner tonight on The Weekend: Primetime.

Hi, I'm the ProPublica reporter who's been tracking an unusual stat: U.S. citizens grabbed by immigration agents.

I did it because the government isn’t.

This is what I found.

Hear me out: What if it's both the hoarding and the havoc?
“The problem with billionaires isn’t that they’re hoarding money that would otherwise pay for a Scandinavian social utopia. It’s that their money has become a source of wildly distorted political power that allows a few men with extremist views to wreak havoc on the rest of us.”

As soon as Roe fell I knew I'd spend the rest of my life fighting for repro justice I won't see in my lifetime. It's not great but it is what it is.
I've been thinking about that Klein and Ta-Nehisi Coates convo. Specifically, how Klein kept saying that Coate's pragmatism in positioning his work in line with those who came before him fighting for rights they knew were unlikely to come to fruition in their lifetimes was depressing /1

Red flag in this wasteful move: a USAID spox falsely claimed that birth control pills, IUDs, and arm implants cause abortions.

“The administration will no longer supply abortifacient birth control under the guise of foreign aid.” 🚩🚩🚩

No U.S. presidential administration has ever said birth control causes abortions as far as I know.

Now a USAID spokesperson is echoing language—“abortifacient birth control”—used by far-right groups like Alliance Defending Freedom, Hobby Lobby, and Students for Life
www.nytimes.com/2025/04/01/h...
“Protecting the lives of unborn children”

USAID is banned from purchasing abortifacients like mifepristone. But many in the anti-abortion movement oppose IUDs and emergency contraception pills because they claim life begins at fertilization and those methods block implantation of eggs. (No and no)

In a genocide, you kill journalists to stop them from telling the world about your war crimes.
Say their names: Mu'adh Abu Taha, Maryam Abu Daqa, Muhammad Salama, and Hossam Al-Masri. Israel killed FOUR journalists today, as they bombed Nasser, as they have bombed every hospital for two years now. They’re among 275 journalists murdered by US-Israel
