APPALLING: The Trump Administration has confirmed it is no longer providing abortion care for veterans relying on VA health care even in instances of rape, incest, or to save the health of the pregnant person.
Department of Veterans Affairs quietly implements abortion ban
A VA spokesperson confirmed to MS NOW that the ban was in place following a Department of Justice memo issued last week.

This is another reason why we ALL must continue to urge Congress to enact legislation that makes access to IVF for servicemembers, veterans, and their dependents equitable and non-discriminatory.

‼️ This law is meant to scare pregnant Texans out of seeking care and to scare providers from helping them. As our senior state legislative counsel Nimra Chowdhry says here, “this is another step towards anti-abortion politicians’ ultimate goal: ending access to all abortions for everyone.”
