Since we’re saying hello: I’m Kenny, in and from Glasgow, looking after public affairs and comms for a mental health charity. I’ve always worked around Scottish politics, which I love, but find people who support parties like football teams very odd. I like sport and human rights and my cat and dog.

Trust UEFA to suck all the joy out of this situation. Do you want to present yourself as people who love football or as jobsworth commercial shills?

This is stupid, impractical and discriminatory not just for trans people but for gender non-conforming cis people too. It encourages society to undo all the progress we’ve made on gender norms and (forgive me, a man) is inherently anti-feminist.
Trans people could be barred from services based on appearance
The new code of practice on access to single-sex services cannot gain legal force until it gets sign-off from ministers.

Well I mean if nothing else, Trump calling for the execution of Democratic members of Congress is unlikely to aid his lawsuit against the BBC.

The President of the United States just called for Democratic members of Congress to be executed. "HANG THEM", he posted.

NHS Tayside mental health services were criticised for lacking transparency and having poor governance. It set up a project to fix things.

Audit Scotland has just reported that the project to fix the lack of transparency and poor governance suffers from lack of transparency and poor governance.

On reflection, that… that just doesn’t happen to us? That kind of game, those kinds of goals, that kind of outcome… has that ever happened to Scotland? I really don’t think it has. What a bizarre and wonderful experience.
