How many billions (really) of dollars have been spent on A.I. for it to pump out garbage like this? One of the biggest tech companies in the world and *this* is the sort of shite that slips through its quality control? LOL.
Google should be formally stripped of its status as a verb now anyway.

Do any of us really need more evidence that important branches of the US government have lost their mind?
How about opening up the 'link' between childhood vaccines and autism then?

Curaçao, the smallest nation by population, has qualified for the World Cup. I can see Scotland being in their group in the first stage and it being a 'must-win' for us. Well, I remember Costa Rica in 1990. And Peru in 1978. Hell, I can remember Zaire in 1974 for that matter.
'No easy games,' etc.

All those tech reviews of a Panasonic OLED Z90 television raving about the picture and sound somehow failed to mention you needed an Amazon account to get full access almost every platform - even those with sod-all to do with Amazon - like Netflix, YouTube.
Buyer's remorse and then some. Grrrrr.

I've just been served an ad on YouTube for a 'tactical hoody' which has 'military grade' fleece. JFC.
A tactical, military grade piece of polyester?! All it needed was Mayor Wild West doing the voiceover with the hokey C&W backing track and I'd have cracked...
Save me Jebus.

Cory Doctorow, talking about his new book 'Enshittification: a monopoly story' on 'Start the week' on Radio 4 is, as they say, 'knocking it out the park.' Outrage tempered by humour and very clear examples about why so much online has turned out so...shitty.

Spotify (et al) can do one. A 15-year-old Logitech Squeezebox Touch, a scavenged hard drive from a busted laptop, 13,134 songs ripped from my CDs in lossless files, a 20-year-old Cambridge Audio A4 amp and Tannoy speakers that are so old I can't remember when I bought them. Sounds terrific, honest.

The 'new' Pope, some guy eh? You just know Martin Scorsese is working up the outline for a biopic...

The look on goalkeeper Craig Gordon's face as he sat on his arse looking at his hapless defence is pretty much how every Scottish football fan feels. A gift for the Greeks -- like they needed one. Ah well.

Has Dirty Donald been on social media to claim those emails are all fake yet?
Surely he could use his Presidential executive decree to instruct the DOJ to immediately release the Epstein files and clear his name? Use his big mad Sharpie magic marker and make it so!

Using a VPN to watch free-to-air French, Italian, Spanish, Belgian - etc - television coverage of bike races? I won't be able to do that anymore? To the barricades, mes amis!
