i think one of my favorite pointless things i've learned about recently is that they changed the signs that say "BIRDLAND" in arcade super hang-on to say "BIRD BIRD" in the megadrive port instead

A reminder that most early video game things don't have nice, clean, specific dates.

Except Death Race, which inexplicably came out on April Fools Day 1976.
@playhistory.bsky.social did some detective work and found the edit point at which someone added the specific date to the Wiki (without citation) and it seems like it just propagates from there
