they don’t even really care he’s dead yet somehow we’re supposed to say “it’s not funny that the big head small face man died” so we don’t get fired from our unrelated jobs
one thing about this is that in the wake of all of this kirk is basically forgotten. he was barely cold in the ground before his allies — before his *wife* — started scheming over what they could take for themselves. a real life parable.
New: Reuters has tallied job losses, suspensions and investigations stemming from the reaction to Charlie Kirk's Sept. 10 assassination. Its findings: More than 600 Americans have been punished, and the figure is likely to be an under-count.

Alice fucking Wong never had a “job,” scraped by on freelance gigs, had to win a MacArthur to keep from being warehoused in an institution, and got laid off a week before she died by Teen Vogue…

…and this dipshit Nuzzi gets like one of the few writing gigs in America? At Vanity Fair?

You see, it's easy, just hire a bunch of dudes who will immediately do something incredibly brutal on film, then crash out and get a DUI, and then OD on fentanyl a week later. No problem!

Just more proof Sean Penn's performance was scarily accurate and barely a satire in One Battle After Another.

Antisemitism is a lot like Qanon child abuse conspiracies in that there’s this real and bad phenomenon and, parallel to that, what can only be described as a large scale mass psychosis about a mostly fictional version of the same phenomenon

Yep, absolutely had this on my bingo card for 2025. Saw it coming since the first syllable of the disingenuous Biden autopen scam-dal.
Trump, who mocked Biden's use of autopen, caught posting identical signatures on pardons | Fortune
The Justice Department quietly corrected the use of identical Trump signatures this week after what the agency called a “technical error.”

Alice is the gold standard of what Twitter was when it was great - how you could just find these brilliant, remarkable people with the kind of voices that rarely get platformed or taken seriously, and hear about their lives in their own words without intruding on them or demanding emotional labor
Watching disabled people around the world mourn Alice is a reminder of the good aspect of the internet. 30 years ago, few people outside of SF would ever have known Alice existed. I never would have met her. The internet connected us all. Let’s honor Alice’s memory by using that power and community.
My social media is wall-to-wall love for the incomparable Alice Wong, and I need more words. What captures sadness and/also affection for a community that knows what's been lost?
