History, philosophy and politics through a Māori lens... or whatever my hyperfocus is at the current moment.
If you take that as an insult that's your prerogative but okay.

Then you already know Greens don't just focus on Palestine, meaning your initial point doesn’t make any sense unless their support of Palestine is a deal breaker for you which isn’t really a good thing. You can thank the Palestinians for the 81 Springbok Tour and a lot of Māori protests succeding.

Focusing on Gaza is focusing on Aotearoa, you'll be suprised how interconnected they are, from the Rainbow Warrior bombing to Hobsons Pledge
Also the Greens have heaps of policies and stance outside of Gaza but like with the rest of the left bloc the media never show it

it's my view that hipkins would prefer a coalition with nz first over the greens. he could dispel this notion by categorically stating that a coalition with nz first is off the table. as far as i'm aware he has so far refused to rule this out.

Labour: Let’s Do This… OK, Maybe Not Actually Do This, But Tell Everyone We Think We Might Be Able To Something in the General Vicinity.
Just not catchy.

There is always the possibility of a large amount of non-voters as we saw last election, they may get some but if people are tired of TPM infighting and Labour’s tepid centrism and don't decide to switch to Greens (or even NZ First for the more bourgeois) they may avoid voting altogether

Hipkins is the most beige unimaginative centrist they could find
He doesn't inspire anything other than depression
We've seen what an inspirational Labour leader can do, by contrast, Hipkins is the opposite

yes, it's a done deal if "someone" can stop the inter-necine badgering
getting involved in other party's internal politics is just crass at this point in the electoral cycle, that's shooting yourself in the foot behaviour

And Labour WILL negotiate with TPM if TPM has the votes to make a coalition.
Labour - Hipkins - is negging TPM and Greens in hopes of skimming left votes instead of joining forces. 😪
TPM not ready to govern? Hipkins wasn't either even when it was gifted to him. Phoenix better rise fast!

It's not really the timing but the messaging strategy as pointed out by Arderns 2017 messaging strategist (who helped her win in a few weeks) as far as I've seen from the 2023 loss up till now Labour has drifted away from her tips and it's showing. #nzpol

Sorry, Hipkins *was* asked for his view.
Hipkins: Te Pāti Māori still not ready for Government
On current polling Labour could only govern with support from the party, but leader Chris Hipkins says "they've still got a long way to go" before they could be considered.

My point is Labour were just like Mamdani up until the 80s. And its not like the country wasn't split a few times back then. We need their radicalism back.

Fascism was growing in the early 1900s, yet at the exact same time Labour were getting more popular even with their socialist beliefs (Harry Holland was a Marxist and the NZ Communist Party would publish Labours political advertisement back then)
They’ve done it before in a divided country.
